REVIEW:
My pal, Eric Tischler (of the wonderfully rockin’ Hurricane Lamps), has been accumulating a home studio full of damn good equipment over the years in his Silver Spring, Maryland basement. Here’s an album he recorded for songwriter, Tom Forsey, with an intimate quality and clean acoustic sounds that carry a loose and engaging feel. It seems that many of the instruments, including the rhythm section, were played by Tom, which surprised me. On first listen I suspected a well-honed band had cut these tracks! Great songs, perfect recording and arrangements. Mastered by Bill Wolf at Wolf Productions. –LC
